Although Paleohacks is a food-focused brand, customer trust and loyalty was enhanced with partnered chefs and experts for each product. In addition to video marketing materials, it was important to create imagery that captured each partner’s personality in a variety of ways so that assets could be used across often long and changing marketing campaigns.
When possible, individual photo shoots were scheduled and hundreds of images were shot in varying poses on simple backgrounds. These images could be used with captioned text in ads and marketing materials or used to cover audio-only recordings intended for video.
Since access to brand partners was often limited, I would regularly add on brief photo sessions after marketing video shoots where talent could interact with food and props used during the video shoot. These images were used in cookbook products, online marketing, and on sales pages.
